Remanufactured Canon Pixma MP780 All-in-One Photo Prin...
Best all-in-one printer with fax.The Canon MP780, which
prints, copies, scans and faxes, stands out in reviews
as the best all-in-one printer if you need a built-in
fax modem. Although there are no memory-card slots, the
PictBridge port allows direct printing from digital
cameras. There's also an automatic document feeder for
multi-page copying (up to 35 pages) and a built-in fax
modem which allows color faxing. Reviews say photo
quality is excellent. In tests, the MP780 prints text
pages at 6.9 pages per minute -- not as fast as a laser
printer like the Brother (below), but speedy for an
inkjet. The Pixma MP780 is both PC and Mac compatible.

Where to buy Best multifunction printer, no fax.The
Canon Pixma MP500 prints, copies and scans, but can't
send faxes. The Canon gets rave reviews from editors and
owners for its photo-centric features. You can preview
photos on a 2.5-inch LCD, and you can print from memory
cards or PictBridge digital cameras. Reviews say photo
quality and text quality are both excellent, and speed
matches that of the MP780 above. The MP500, however,
does not have an integrated fax, and there's no document
feeder. This model also works with PC and Mac computers.

Where to buy Budget all-in-one printer, no fax.If you
don't need a fax modem and won't miss an LCD preview

expensive Canon printers above, reviews say the Canon is
the quickest budget printer. Output quality is
consistently good, and when printed on photo paper,
photographs are also very good. The MP130 does include
memory-card slots for direct printing, but there's no
fax, document feeder or automatic duplexing.
